Feels really light, definitely more gel than cream. Not much scent, feels really moisturizing. Suuuper tiny bottle. I don’t have a lot of storage space so that’s a positive for me, but it is really very little product for $16 (price right now). I was a bit confused at first, since I thought this was the same company I'd ordered from before (Naked Sundays) due to the similar name. But it's new to me. I do like both, and apparently they're very similar. Sharing in case you're intrested in trying out similar brands: "Summer Fridays" and "Naked Sundays" are popular skincare brands known for their trendy, effective sunscreens and beauty products, often compared for offering similar SPF-focused, glowy, and makeup-friendly options, with Naked Sundays specializing in fun, innovative SPF formulas (like lip balms and mists) and Summer Fridays known for cult favorites like their Lip Butter Balm and mineral milk sunscreens, both delivering on hydration and sun protection for a 'clean girl' aesthetic.
I have been wanting to try this moisturizer for a while and I can definitely say it was worth the wait. I have issues with texture and I have super dry skin. This moisturizer was perfect on both accounts. It goes on lightweight and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. It kept my skin hydrated all day. I’ve noticed a real difference in how smooth and refreshed my face looks since I started using it. It’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin and layers easily under makeup, too. If you’re looking for a daily moisturizer that gives you that healthy, dewy glow, this one is definitely worth trying!
I was very surprised by this moisturizer, the first time I used it I thought “this isn’t going to do much”, but I was wrong. When you first put it on it feels so lightweight but as you rub it in it starts feeling like that perfect combination of lightweight yet creates a nice soft barrier on your skin. This makes your face feel so smooth and almost tacky like a great primer and if it had SPF in it already (instead of having to either use yours or buy theirs separately) I would love it so much more. I feel like if it had both in it, it would be the perfect daytime moisturizer/primer. Though I understand why it’s separate, I personally would love a combo. With that being said, I do also really enjoy this at night. After cleansing I apply all my serums and other super lightweight moisturizer then apply this and my retinol and my face feels soft, well hydrated and like the moisture is locked in by this secretly thick moisturizer. I do feel however that it is rather expensive for the amount of product you get especially if using it both morning and night, it’s not going to last long. I would be more inclined to get it again as an AM moisturizer with SPF in it at this price point than how it is now, but that’s just my opinion (and my personal financial ability). Regardless, it’s great, just pricey.
This is exactly what I needed for summer days. The texture is lightweight and fresh, and it feels absolutely non-greasy on my skin. It absorbs quickly but still provides a nice level of hydration - my skin feels plump and comfortable without any heaviness. I especially love how well it works with my mineral SPF. It layers beautifully, doesn’t pill, and keeps everything looking smooth throughout the day. If you’re looking for a simple, lightweight summer moisturizer that hydrates without making your skin shiny or overloaded, this one is a great option. The mini size is also perfect for trying it out or for travel.
I love this stuff but can we please get it in a bigger size?! If the cleanser comes in a big size, why can the moisturizer? It feels like a dream putting it on, my skin stays so hydrated.
The first thing to know — the tube is really small. It’s more like a travel size, so don’t expect it to last long if you use it daily. Texture is nice though. It’s lightweight, sinks in quickly, and doesn’t leave that sticky or greasy layer. Works well under makeup and feels comfortable throughout the day. Hydration is decent for normal days, but if your skin is very dry, you might need something richer on top. Overall, it’s a good option if you want something light and easy to use, just be aware of how little product you actually get.
