This lip pencil slides on easily and looks great. The pencil is soft enough to go on easily but not so soft that it will wear down quickly. I expect this pencil will last a long time. The Latte color is the perfect match for the vanilla beige color Summer Fridays lip butter balm. I used them together and it looked great! I have fair skin and highlighted blonde hair and the Latte color looked good on me. I think it would look good on anyone who can wear warm colors. The pencil is of high quality which is what I expected from Summer Fridays. The price is a on par with other high-end lip liners. I'm very happy with this lip liner and I will buy it again (but probably won't need to for quite a while since this pencil can be sharpened and used for a long time!).
I am really impressed with this Summer Fridays SoftLine lip liner. The texture is creamy enough to glide on smoothly without tugging, but it still sets to a true matte that doesn’t budge throughout the day. The Rosé shade is flattering and versatile - it pairs well with a range of lip colors or even on its own for a soft, defined look. What stands out most is how comfortable it feels. It doesn’t dry out my lips like some matte liners do, probably thanks to the added skincare ingredients. It actually leaves my lips feeling a bit more hydrated and plump. This lip liner is a great balance of performance and comfort, and I definitely recommend it!
I got the Summer Fridays lip liner in the shade Pecan, which I would recommend to anyone who loves to wear warm toned lip combos. It's a rich brown-toned red that works with so many of my lipsticks and glosses. The liner goes on smoothly, without any tugging. I like that it's a traditional wood clench pencil so I can sharpen it to a fine point. The liner has a soft texture but it doesn't bleed into lip lines at all. It's staying power is decent; it will hold up to a meal or a few drinks, but if I put it on in the morning it will be gone by mid-afternoon. I'm enjoying using it, and it's become one of the preferred liners in my collection.
This lip liner pencil is a pretty light pink. I have medium tan skin and unfortunately it is too light for me, it makes me look washed out. I dont wear foundation but im a 35N medium neutral in concealer tarte creamy creaseless for comparison. I did wear it to test it out and it was long lasting doesn’t transfer too crazy. The one thing I didn’t like was it has a strong wood smell because the pencil is made out of wood so it smells a little bad for me when I applied it. However it’s easy to sharpen I just wish the color worked for me. I appreciate that the pencil is also true to color to what’s in the inside. If you’re around my skin tone and you don’t like light lips I don’t recommend it. This definitely seems like it would work perfectly on lighter skin tones
This lip liner really exceeded my expectations. It goes on super smoothly without any tugging, which already makes it feel way more luxe than most liners I’ve tried. Once it’s on, it sets down to a matte finish but still feels comfortable, not dry or tight at all. The shade I got is also really pretty and easy to wear. It works with a lot of different lip combos, but I also like it on its own for a more soft, defined lip look. What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t leave my lips feeling dried out by the end of the day. It actually feels pretty comfortable to wear, which isn’t always the case with matte formulas. Overall, it’s just a really solid lip liner, easy to use, flattering shade, and comfortable enough for everyday wear.
