I keep telling myself that I couldn't possibly need another vanilla perfume, but then a beauty like this comes along and proves me wrong. I love vanilla fragrances, and this one is wonderful. To my nose, it smells like vanilla buttercream dusted with extra powdered sugar, yet it somehow manages to avoid feeling sickly sweet. The tonka adds a soft, honeyed tone while the amber gives it a sensual warmth and some depth. Together they keep Sunlit Vanilla from smelling like simple birthday cake frosting and turn it into a vanilla that feels rich, elegant, and surprisingly full-bodied. The longevity is excellent and lasts all day on my skin, and this is absolutely the type of fragrance that earns compliments. A good vanilla is easy to love, and this is a very good vanilla. I'm already a fan of Summer Fridays, and this is a fragrance that has me wanting the largest bottle available. Creamy, sweet, beautiful vanilla with some real depth to it and excellent longevity and sillage.
